Refund policy

We have a 30-day return policy, which means you have 30 days after receiving your item to request a return.

To be eligible for a return, your item must be in the same condition that you received it, unworn or unused, with tags, and in its original packaging. You’ll also need the receipt or proof of purchase.

If your return is accepted, we’ll send you a return shipping label, as well as instructions on how and where to send your package. Items sent back to us without first requesting a return will not be accepted.

Damages and issues
Please inspect your order upon reception and contact us immediately if the item is defective, damaged or if you receive the wrong item, so that we can evaluate the issue and make it right.


Exceptions / non-returnable items
Certain types of items cannot be returned, like perishable goods (such as food, flowers, or plants), custom products (such as special orders or personalized items), and personal care goods (such as beauty products). We also do not accept returns for hazardous materials, flammable liquids, or gases. Please get in touch if you have questions or concerns about your specific item.

Unfortunately, we cannot accept returns on sale items or gift cards.


Exchanges
The fastest way to ensure you get what you want is to return the item you have, and once the return is accepted, make a separate purchase for the new item.


European Union 14 day cooling off period
Notwithstanding the above, if the merchandise is being shipped into the European Union, you have the right to cancel or return your order within 14 days, for any reason and without a justification. As above, your item must be in the same condition that you received it, unworn or unused, with tags, and in its original packaging. You’ll also need the receipt or proof of purchase.


Refunds
We will notify you once we’ve received and inspected your return, and let you know if the refund was approved or not. If approved, you’ll be automatically refunded on your original payment method within 10 business days. Please remember it can take some time for your bank or credit card company to process and post the refund too.

14-Day Comfort Guarantee

At Silkrest, we stand behind our hotel-quality bedding. You have 14 days from the date of delivery to request a return if your pillows or cushion inserts aren't perfect for you.

Eligibility Criteria

To qualify for a return, please ensure:
  • Items are unused, unopened, and in original condition
  • Original tags and labels remain attached
  • Products are in original packaging (where applicable)
  • You provide your order number or proof of purchase
Important: For hygiene reasons, we cannot accept returns on items that have been used, slept on, or removed from their protective packaging. Please inspect your items carefully before use.

How to Initiate a Return

  1. Email us at shimshadcorplimited@gmail.com with your order number and reason for return
  2. We'll respond within 24-48 hours with a Return Authorisation Number and return shipping label
  3. Pack items securely in original packaging (or suitable alternative)
  4. Attach the provided return label and drop off at your nearest collection point

Damaged or Incorrect Items

We carefully inspect every Silkrest product before dispatch. However, if your order arrives damaged, defective, or you received the wrong item:
  • Contact us immediately at shimshadcorplimited@gmail.com with photos of the damage/packaging
  • We'll arrange a free replacement or full refund—your choice
  • Please keep all packaging materials until the issue is resolved

Non-Returnable Items

The following cannot be returned for hygiene and safety reasons:
  • Items that have been used, slept on, or removed from original packaging
  • Pillows or cushion inserts without original protective covering
  • Products washed or treated with fabric softeners/ detergents
  • Gift cards

Exchanges

Need a different size or firmness? The quickest way is to:
  1. Return your original item for a refund (following the process above)
  2. Place a new order for your preferred Silkrest product
This ensures you get your new bedding faster without waiting for return processing.

Refunds

Once we receive and inspect your return (typically within 2-3 business days):
  • We'll notify you via email of approval status
  • Approved refunds are processed to your original payment method within 10 business days
  • Your bank or credit card company may take additional time to post the refund (usually 3-5 business days)

EU Customers: 14-Day Cooling Off Period

If you're shopping from the European Union, you have the right to cancel or return your order within 14 days without providing a reason, under EU consumer protection law. The same condition requirements apply (unused, original packaging).
